The Vision Quest series emerged from Kalayjian’s vision quests, spiritual journeys into nature guided by Shamans in search for visions. He has completed a dozen Vision Quests since his first in 1992. One in particular had a most profound influence on him in finding a deep connection with the Source in nature. The paintings from The Vision Quest Series celebrate the human spirit, raw and real, as experienced by the artist.
